County Monaghan Water Conservation Project

Monaghan County Council wish to advise its customers on the LoughEgish Regional Water Supply Scheme there will be disruption to the water supply to facilitate leak detection, new valve installation and repairs to the pipe network for the month of July.
The areas mostly affected on the scheme will be Rockcorry, Aughnamullen, Derryvalley, Latton, Shantonagh, Agherlane, Ballybay, Carrickinare and Annyalla

We will endeavour to minimise disruption as much as possible, but supply could be off for two or three hours each day. It is recommended that customers who rely on large quantities of water to maintain their business operations take adequate measures to have stored supply of water available for this period of disruption.
Please note not all areas will be affected at the one time over this period. If you have any queries in relation to the disruption you can contact the Water Conservation Project Office on 047 20566.

We ask our customer to be patient through this period as this work is vital to reduce the amount of leakage in the network.
Monaghan County Council wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
