Variation (no. 18) of the Monaghan County Development Plan 2007 – 2013

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 13 of the Planning and Development Act 2000, that Monaghan County Council varied the Monaghan County Development Plan 2007 – 2013 on the 4th May 2010.

Variation No. 18

The variation amends Policy RD29 to incorporate the EPA Code of Practice – Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Systems Serving Single Houses and is as follows:

Policy RD29: All proposals involving the installation of an on site wastewater treatment system must be in accordance with the requirements of the EPA Code of Practice – Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Systems Serving Single Houses (EPA 2009).

Reason:

To ensure developments are in compliance with the EPA Code of Practice – Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Systems Serving Single Houses, (EPA 2009).

A copy of the County Development Plan as varied is available for inspection at the offices of Monaghan County Council, The Glen, Monaghan during opening hours from 9.15am – 5pm (including lunch). This information can also be obtained from the Planning Section
