Education and Outreach

A consultant was employed by the Museum to draft an Education Policy for the Museum. With this new document the Museum hopes to provide a comprehensive events calendar for the year to incorporate all the schools of County Monaghan. However this will also be directed towards the general public in the form of Winter Lectures. These lectures began last year with eminent speakers such as Comac Burke of the Ulster Museum and Dr. Finbar McCormick of Queen's University doing talks on subjects such as Archaeology and Early Christian Ireland.
