Below are the details of dogs that have been admitted to Monaghan County Council Dog Pound or have been notified as stray dogs to Monaghan County Council Dog Warden. If you recognise your lost dog or any other dog listed below, please contact the Dog Pound on 042 9664236 / 087 9634121 or the Dog Warden on 087 6623876 as soon as possible quoting the dog reference number.
The Dog Pound opening hours are 11am - 4pm Monday to Saturday.

Please Note:
Stray dogs admitted to the pound are kept for a minimum of 5 days. After that period has expired, Monaghan County Council will endeavour to rehome dogs through the MSPCA Dog Shelter, Emyvale or Carrick Dog Shelter (CDS), Lisdoonan. However, if the MSPCA or CDS do not have space or if dogs are not suitable for rehoming, then these dogs will be put to sleep.
