Support for Professional Monaghan Artists

* Anyone who received funding in last year may not apply *

Monaghan County Council is keen to support The Professional Artist (including the Performing Artist, Visual Artist, Writers, Filmmakers, Composers, and in line with 'Towards a policy for the Traditional Arts'*, we welcome applications from Artists working in the Traditional Arts.) who are originally from Monaghan or who reside in Monaghan.
Bursaries will be awarded to individual artists to enable them to pursue the creation and process of their work for a period of time and by supporting their pursuit of excellence and to assist them in their endeavors.

Professional Artists support will be assisted through the bursaries designed to assist with artists’ expenses

Unfortunately this year there is limited funding available to the Professional Artists Scheme, due to the current economic climate, so therefore we have decided to exclude those who received funding last year.
