Winter Support for Local Community Groups, Businesses, Schools,
Churches and the General Public
"Purchase a Salt Bin Scheme"
Monaghan County Council is implementing a new Support Scheme to provide help and assistance to Local Community Groups, Schools and Churches and Businesses during the winter period. Monaghan County Council will not be in a position to provide salt directly to the general public. To try and minimise the difficulties that the Severe Winter Weather can bring, Monaghan County Council is implementing the "Purchase a Salt Bin Scheme" which allows Local Community Groups and Businesses to prepare themselves for the winter period at a reasonable cost. It is up to the community group/school/business to source their own salt after the first fill has been used.
