Notice is hereby given pursuant to Article 81(1) of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 as  amended of the following development.

Pilot scheme to form an 18.6-acre Willow plantation irrigated with final discharge quality water from Knockatallon STW, for the treatment and bioremediation of the water through the growth and eventual harvesting of willows.  The works will consist of new  underground pumping station at STW, Rising Main from STW to 500m3 holding tank to  irrigation lands, including irrigation pipework  with interconnecting pipework, valves,  flowmeter  and associated site works at CORLAT and KNOCKNAGEEHA, Knockatallon , Co. Monaghan.

Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection  or  purchase  at  a  fee  not  exceeding   the  reasonable  cost  of  making  a  copy during normal working hours at the offices of Monaghan County Council, County Offices, The Glen Road, Monaghan up to and including 23rd February 2012.

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development will be situate, may be made in writing to Monaghan County Council, County Offices, The Glen Road, Monaghan, up to and including 8th March 2012.
